Mountains Where Gravity Goes Nuts

Places Challenging Gravity

To all the wanderlust soul, who loves to explore new places. Certainly, the world is full of mystery places so here we have brought some Gravity defying places where gravity goes nuts, where up is down and down is up, lots of confusion in it. Lets read it what this puzzle is all about the Gravity Hills

What is Gravity Hills?

A gravity hill is a place where a slight downhill slope appears to be an uphill slope due to the layout of the surrounding land, creating the optical illusion that water flows uphill or that a car left out of gear will roll uphill. Many of these sites have no specific name and are often called just “Gravity Hill”

Certainly, what we have read is “What goes up must come down, and not the other way around, right?”

Wrong. Drive somewhere like Confusion Hill in California or Magnetic Mountain in Canada, put your car in neutral, and watch one of the most widely accepted laws of physics turn on its head. Your car will seem to defygravity, slowly rolling uphill.

The world is full of many Gravity hills, like in the US, UK, Australia, Brazil, and Italy. And everyone possesses a striking similarity which make your knowledge to nuts like drive your car to the bottom of the hill and put it in neutral it will start to roll back

“The embankment is sloped in a way that gives you the effect that you are going uphill,”

“You are, indeed, going downhill, even though your brain gives you the impression that you’re going uphill.”

But if a hill is physically sloping one way – so much so that cars gain quite a bit of momentum when they start drifting ‘up’ – how could our eyes trick us so bad every time?
